Since charity: water was founded in 2006, they’ve been chasing one ambitious goal: ending the global water crisis. And while the water crisis is huge, they’re optimistic. They know how to solve the problem, and make progress every day thanks to the help of local partners and generous supporters. They know that If we work together, everyone will have access to life’s most basic needs within our lifetime.

In an effort to support the incredible work that charity: water do, at Simon Deen Real Estate, we have two goals of our own;

The first is to fund at least one basic water project through donations by Simon Deen Real Estate.

The second is to fund at least one further basic water project through donations from our clients and friends.

Water projects start at £8,000, so we'll need to raise at least £16,000.  It's an ambitious goal, but one we're committed to achieving.

These are not one off goals.  We are committed to funding at least two water projects every financial year.  To do so we'll need the generous support of people like you.  Because together, we can solve the water crisis.

charity: water is a nonprofit organisation on a mission to bring clean and safe drinking water to every person on the planet.

703 million people don’t have access to clean, safe water. But, it’s a problem charity: water knows how to fix. That’s 1 in 10 of us or 10x the population of the UK who don’t have clean water.

Women and kids are responsible for collecting water for their families and often walk over 30 minutes to get it, two to three times a day.

Clean water changes everything - especially for women and children. It’s estimated that women in Sub-Saharan Africa spend a combined total of 16 million hours per day collecting water.

Access to clean water means better health, more time and increased opportunities.

100% of all donations to charity: water fund clean water projects. That means every penny donated will be used to bring clean water to people in need.

charity: water works with carefully-chosen local partners who have a thorough understanding of how to implement effective, sustainable water projects in their own communities and schools.

charity: water builds transparency and proof into everything they do, showing completed projects with GPS coordinates and using remote sensors to monitor water flow.

Since 2006, charity: water has worked in 29 countries and brought clean water to over 16 million people around the world.

Just £1 can equal 1,400 litres of water. £30 brings clean water to one person and sponsoring a whole water project costs £8,000 + up.
